"Maureen is offering a wonderful Yoga class that's pretty unique. In her intuitive manner she integrates Restorative Yoga and relaxation techniques with Svaroopa-style Yoga (attention to the release of the muscles surrounding the spine). This combination centers the breath and the releasing of muscles that surround the spine with the goal of giving support to helping the body to restore itself to its healthful state. I highly recommend Maureen's class. It's for all ages, injuries or not, to regain and repair lost health and learn relaxation techniques."
At the very least, it takes 20-30 min a day of conscious practice to regulate your nervous system.
Whether yoga or meditation, most of my classes are at least an hour. This gives your system a chance to really engage with the practice and reap its benefits.
A typical yoga class uses props such as chairs, blocks and blankets.
“When we let go of the continual construction of a self or even the need to be a “somebody,” then we are free to be who we are. When we are completely ourselves, we forget about needing to be the center of our perceptual world and thus we can take in others and our environment with greater sensitivity, compassion, and openness.”
"What I most appreciate about my experience working with Maureen, both in yoga and meditation, is the change in perspective I now have. I can finally see where I fit in my family dynamic and how important it is to honor my needs and desires outside of that context so that I can care for the people I love while also remaining whole and in touch with those things that bring me personal joy."

"I first started getting CranioSacral work with Maureen approximately 4 years ago after experiencing low back pain resulting from injury. Maureen was so gentle, knowledgeable and intuitive, I immediately began to see results from my sessions with her - it was such a relief to be pain-free! Recently, I had a Svaroopa-Style yoga class with Maureen, and found the experience to be extremely grounding, stress-reducing and pain-relieving. I highly recommend Maureen for both bodywork and yoga!"
